Photo Friday 5.9.2014

Welcome to Photo Friday where I show my week in pictures! Follow me on Instagram @tristantuttle! These posts are a mix of my instagram photos, pictures taken with my Canon, and photos taken by my friends and family.  For more Photo Friday, click  here.

I apologize for the lack of posts these past few weeks. Jared's work has been getting busier and busier now that the weather is warm and people are wanting to paint their homes. It's cutting into our project time! I'm hoping to get back to a regular schedule soon. Anyway, here's our week in photos!

I went to Mama and Daddy's house this week to collect more bricks, this time from the chimney that Daddy tore out of the house. No poison ivy this time! This view makes me happy.

I posted this to Instagram with this prayer: " Dear Jesus, bless our neighbors so much that they find a better place to live. And send us good neighbors that only have one car that they can park in their own driveway. Amen."

We hardly ever get mail because they're blocking our mailbox constantly. I've talked with them, but there hasn't been any change. Our mailbox is behind the yukon.

But then this happened! They moved all of their cars to their own driveway! Miracles of miracles! God sent this heavenly ray of light to showcase our beautiful mailbox.

I roasted a chicken in my cast iron dutch oven, and it turned out pretty good!  I am the (cast) iron chef! I'll post a recipe soon.

Jared and I have finally started on the floors upstairs (which was #2 on our Tuttle To-Dos for 2014 list!) This was my view of the construction.

I don't see how he gets any work done at all with these two around.

Another trip to Mama and Daddy's produced this photo. My Johnny Cash print helps Daddy get gun work done. (Daddy owns Mill Creek Gun Works and is an excellent gunsmith. He repairs/restores guns from all over the country. If you'd like to talk to him about your project join the facebook group here.)

I am in love with this clematis vine. It's grown all the way into the top of the tree!

Puck is quite possibly the sweetest girl ever.

They fell asleep at my feet with their butts touching. This is killing me.

This morning Jared and I had apples and honeysuckles for breakfast on the porch. I love when we can have mornings together!

I hope y'all have a wonderful and peaceful Mother's Day Weekend!
