Armuchee Memorial Day Weekend 2013

I love the Armuchee Bluegrass Festival! It's such a great way to spend time with people you love and eat food and play music; what more could anyone want?

And oh yeah. There were so many dogs! I love all of them!

Mama snapped this one with her phone of me with Belle and Six String!

The majority of jamming I did was on the bass. I'm a bass weenie. Look at my poor blistered fingers!

Little Katie May camped with her family right by our camper. She's the cutest.

Night time jam!

Mama is a bass beast.

I'm not sure what they're all smiling about, but it makes me happy.

My favorite band there this weekend (besides us of course:) was BlueRoad Bluegrass! Our "adopted" brother Josh is the bass player, and I am so proud of them! If you want to hear some AMAZING music and have your face melted off with how incredible they are, be sure to check them out sometime!

The best part of Armuchee is definitely the people. I've made so many friends over the years here, and sometimes these festivals are the only time I get to see them!

I stole this photo from my sister's instagram. This is Hayden and his girlfriend Haley. Her beautiful face is covered, but I promise, she's there.

Josh is part of the Banjo Revolution.

Jeff is one of our long-time camping buddies!

I interrupted Katie eating/laughing about something. Somehow, she's still beautiful.

Katie May loves Cheetos more than anything.

We found these baby birds in the utility pole!

Eating is a big part of any festival. We do it really well.

Josh and Katie May. According to Josh, Katie May has an attitude problem...because she acted slightly afraid of Josh at first. She seems to be over it.

He wouldn't separate himself from that sweet tea for anything.

I had a blast this year! I ended up leaving a bit early to surprise Jared who couldn't come with us because of work. Even with my time cut short,  it was a great festival!

Also, I'd like to thank Lester, Cindy, Caleb, and Elijah Rudin for feeding us this weekend! I didn't get any pictures because I was too busy chowing down, but I love y'all so much and appreciate everything!

I'll leave y'all with a video my friend Heather shot. Her brother is Dylan, the guitar player on the end. He kills me with his talent and he's only 15! This is their version of  "Midnight Rider" and if you don't like it, don't tell me because I won't be able to look at you the same. It's incredible!

Happy Memorial Day, y'all!
