Jared and I went camping with our family. Our tent is bigger than our car!

There was boiled peanuts made by my Daddy!

A little solitude

Some reading
This was the largest and strangest mushroom I have ever seen. I told a little girl that were camping near us that this was a fungus and was a living thing. Later I heard her ask her sister, "Hey, do you want to see a living thing?!" It was cute.

This is one of my favorite places.

This frog/toad/whatever was not amused.

I love making bouquets out of random stuff I find in the yard. These I stole from my parents' yard. Its a bouquet of fleabane daisies, goldenrod, a sprig of cedar, elderberries, and pokeweed.
I hope y'all are having a great week! Soon, I'll post about the Georgia Marble Festival!

  1. Great pics! Those boiled peanuts made my mouth water! mmmm mmm
I hate Elderberries, I thought it was funny you put them in your bouquet (they look good though). They make brilliant pink stains all over my horses and my mower (when I try to run the weeds down!) ;)

  2. Daddy made those boiled peanuts over the campfire, which I thought was extra cool. We love camping as a family. I love making bouquets out of weeds!
